Relixir review: Rex, the managed GEO agent, and what it costs

Relixir is a generative engine optimization company whose product, Rex, is pitched as an autonomous GEO employee for B2B teams. Rex monitors brand mentions and citations in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude, writes and refreshes content with schema, and runs authority work such as backlink and Reddit outreach. Relixir's team configures and manages it for each customer, and pricing is custom.

Best for
B2B companies that want AI search work done for them by a managed agent rather than hiring a GEO agency or running a dashboard in-house.
Not ideal for
Teams that want a self-serve tool with a published price, or a small business that only needs to know where it stands today.

What Relixir does

  • AI search visibility, citation and sentiment monitoring
  • Autonomous content creation with JSON-LD schema and automated citations
  • CMS-wide content refreshes on a 30 to 60 day cycle
  • Authority building: backlink outreach, Reddit citation targets, PR campaigns
  • Technical audits, site health and competitor monitoring
  • Integrations with CMS, Google Analytics, Search Console, CRM and Slack

What Relixir is

Relixir Inc. builds Rex, which it calls "your autonomous GEO employee". The goal is to get a brand recommended and cited in AI answers without hiring an agency. Relixir says more than 400 B2B teams use it, and the product lives at rex.relixir.ai.

Rex combines three jobs that most vendors split apart:

  1. Monitoring. Mention rate, citation rate, competitor share of voice and sentiment across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude.
  2. Content. New pages written with JSON-LD schema, semantic chunking and automated citations, plus refreshes of existing pages across the CMS every 30 to 60 days.
  3. Authority. Backlink outreach, finding Reddit threads that AI engines cite, and PR campaigns.

It also runs technical audits and site health checks, and connects to Google Analytics, Search Console, a CRM and Slack so the dashboard can report AI-sourced leads.

Pricing and setup

Relixir publishes no price points. The site shows one Custom tier and asks you to book a demo. It says you can "start ranking on Google & AI search in minutes" and cancel anytime, but it does not describe a free trial or a self-serve plan.

The setup model matters more than the price tag. Rex is forward-deployed: Relixir's team configures it, launches it and keeps managing it for each customer. That makes it closer to a managed service built on an agent than a tool your marketer logs into alone.

Relixir also publishes a benchmark claiming a 94.2% pass rate on long GEO workflows across 1,200 production runs, compared with 61.4% for a GPT-5.2 agent. These are the vendor's own figures, and the page does not link a method you can reproduce.

Strengths and limits

Where it fits well: a B2B company with a CMS full of pages, a clear buyer, and no team to write and refresh content for generative engine optimization. Rex covers the whole loop from tracking to publishing to outreach, and a managed setup removes the configuration work.

What to check before buying:

  • How content approval works, since Rex can refresh pages across your whole CMS.
  • Which prompts it tracks and how often, since the site does not list prompt limits.
  • Whether outreach, such as Reddit and PR, matches your brand's rules.

Alternatives to compare

If you want content execution with a published price, AirOps and Knowatoa both pair tracking with drafting agents. If you mainly need measurement, Otterly.AI and AIclicks publish self-serve plans.

Relixir and GetPicked

Relixir's Rex is a managed execution engine: it publishes and refreshes content and runs outreach across your CMS on a custom contract. GetPicked starts with a Pick Check (free with an account) of how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok answer for your site, then hands you copy-ready fixes that a human approves before anything goes live. Choose Relixir if you want an agent to produce content at volume for a B2B program; choose GetPicked if you want to see the gap first and keep every change in your own hands.

Questions

How much does Relixir cost?
Relixir does not publish prices. Its site shows a single Custom tier with a Book a Demo button, so cost depends on the scope agreed with its sales team.
Is Relixir software or an agency?
Both, in a sense. Rex is software (an autonomous agent), but Relixir describes it as forward-deployed: Relixir's own team configures, launches and manages Rex for each customer.
Which AI engines does Relixir track?
Relixir names Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude, and says it monitors all major LLMs. It does not publish a per-engine list beyond those four.
Does Rex publish content to my site automatically?
Relixir says Rex creates content with JSON-LD schema and runs CMS-wide refreshes every 30 to 60 days through a CMS integration. Ask during the demo how approvals work before anything goes live on your site.
