AirOps alternatives and competitors for AI search content

AirOps competitors compared: managed GEO agents, agency platforms and lighter trackers with drafting. What each does, published prices, and when AirOps is still the better fit.

Why people look for AirOps alternatives

AirOps presents itself as a strategy and execution partner for AI search. Its platform combines agents, data, brand governance and expert services to research, publish and refresh content, and its Insights layer tracks visibility, citations, sentiment and position by model, region and topic.

That breadth is the main reason people compare alternatives:

  • It is a content operations system. Tasks are the unit of billing. The Solo plan includes 35,000 tasks and the Pro plan 100,000, and Solo users pay $0.025 per extra task. Teams that only want to see where they stand may not need workflow tooling.
  • Prices are not on the page. The pricing page shows Solo, Pro and Enterprise with Start for free buttons, a 14-day trial and an FAQ saying pricing depends on task volume, but no dollar figures.
  • Engine coverage depends on plan. Solo includes ChatGPT insights only; Pro lists insights across 7+ answer engines.
  • Some buyers want the work done for them rather than a platform their team must run.

The alternatives

Relixir sells Rex, an autonomous GEO agent that Relixir's own team configures and runs for each customer. Rex tracks Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude, writes and refreshes content with JSON-LD schema across your CMS every 30 to 60 days, and runs backlink, Reddit and PR outreach. Pricing is custom. Choose it if you want AirOps-style output without staffing the workflows.

Daydream is an SEO and AI search partner that pairs AI agents with dedicated experts. Its published method covers keyword strategy, technical health, editorial SEO, programmatic SEO, authority building and AI visibility. Pricing is through a call, and it offers a free AI visibility dashboard built from your category's buyer prompts.

Rankability is built for agencies: research, briefs, AI-assisted drafts and optimization, plus tracking across 11 AI platforms. Plans are published: Starter $97/month (20 content projects, 100 tracked AI queries), Agency $297/month and Agency Pro $497/month, each with unlimited client workspaces and team members and a 7-day card-required trial.

Knowatoa is a lighter option for small B2B and SaaS teams. It tracks seven AI engines and uses two agents, Sam for gap research and Connie for drafting, with approval or auto-approval. Starter is $59/month and Growth $199/month.

Trakkr tracks eight models on every plan and offers Automations, such as schema and robots.txt playbooks, that ship only after you approve them. Growth is $100/month and Scale $500/month, with a 14-day trial. It does not write long-form content the way AirOps does.

GetPicked is smaller in scope than AirOps by design. It runs a Pick Check (free with an account) of how often ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok recommend your site and who they pick instead, then hands you copy-ready fixes and verifies them after they go live. A done-with-you Fix Pack is available. A human approves every change, and GetPicked never posts as you or buys mentions. It suits a small company without a content team, not an enterprise running content at volume.

How to choose

  1. Decide whether you need a workflow builder. If your team will build and run content pipelines, AirOps or Rankability make sense. If not, a managed option (Relixir, daydream) or a fix-first option (GetPicked) avoids unused capacity.
  2. Check which engines matter. Most buyers use ChatGPT and Google; some categories lean on Perplexity or Claude. Match plan coverage to that.
  3. Ask how content gets approved. Any tool that publishes at volume should show you its review step. Thin pages at scale can hurt more than help; see generative engine optimization for what tends to earn citations.
  4. Compare on published facts. Where a price is not published, ask for it in writing before a trial ends.
